The history of the Il Teatro pizzeria is a journey through tradition, taste and passion that crosses the whole of Italy, from south to north.
A story linked to the life path of Giuseppina Di Lieto, known to all as "Pina", who was able to make her dream a splendid reality.

The origins

Giuseppina Di Lieto was born in Tramonti, a dome of vineyards and chestnut trees on the Amalfi Coast, made up of unique flavors and ancient gastronomic traditions.

Curiosity and initiative are his main qualities, which soon led him to leave his homeland to set out towards new horizons.

The turning point

In '72, after various experiences as a pizza chef, Giuseppe Giordano took the opportunity to realize his long-held dream: opening his own place. Thus was born “Da Pino e Gianni”, the first owned restaurant, in Mogliano Veneto. The place where it all began.

The restaurant

The name is derived from the copper and green lichen covering the canyon. Copper Canyon has two climatic zones. The region features an alpine climate at the top and a subtropical climate at the lower levels.
